Looks like a variation of the KelTec SUB2000, the biggest difference is the S&W folds sideways. I don't need another PCC, but this one is interesting, uses M&P double stack mags, spares can be stored in the stock.

    • Compact, folding design.
    • Optics-ready.
    • Integrated recoil buffer system.
    • Reversible magazine catch.
    • 30 3/8" unfolded length to 16 3/8" folded.
    • 1/2-28 threaded muzzle with thread protector.
    • Flat-face trigger with crisp break.
    • Compatible with M&P® Pistol double-stack magazines.
    • In-stock magazine storage w/quick-release tab system.
    • Horizontal folding mechanism with locking latch.
    • Horizontal folding design doesn’t interfere with top-mounted optics (optics sold separately).
    • M-LOK® slots on handguard with Picatinny-style rail on top.
    • Charging slide/handle doubles as retainer when folded.
    • Ships with (one) 17-round magazine and (two) 23-round magazines.
    • Carrying bag with additional storage and Velcro® straps.
    • Made in U.S.A.

Definitely has its quirks. Not too thrilled with the pressure fit closing. The right side slide release is a good way to take off a finger. Aesthetically speaking, it ain't pretty. With all the other PCC's out there, I think it's a tough sell.

I haven’t watched the videos yet, I will though.

But just by the looks of that thing I don’t think it is for me.

If I were to get a pistol caliber carbine I’d opt for a lever gun in either.357 or .41 mag.

Looks cool and since its not a keltec it should work out of the box
I have a Sub2000 and have never had a failure. S&W may have the better design though for optics. Since legislature screwed us with passage of constitutional carry the need for an easily concealed rifle is less important. I can't carry my Sub2000 concealed in firearm free zones like hospitals anymore.

Maybe for a backpack survival rifle but to be honest I'd rather have the Ruger 10/22 Takedown.

.22 is a much more useful caliber in those situations than 9mm, other than the latter being more commonly used by the military.

Thanks for reminding me of that tragedy.

I used to have a Sub 2k and I'd say I think of it as fitting in more of the truck gun niche and if you want to have one set of mags that you switch between your primary carry and a rifle.

I sold my Sub 2K when I reconfigured an AR with a Law Tactical Folder and a Cry Havoc QD barrel setup. More accurate, more versatile, and actually more compact.
