Just South Of Van Horn..

I have a small cold-cabin being put up this coming Tuesday by a contractor about 20 miles south of Van Horn, and will be staying in Van Horn (79855). I may decide to have a few people out to shoot this week coming on Wed.. (11 acres.. see pic)..

Send me a PM if interested with contact info.. This pic is approximate.. (I guessed with the yellow 'tape'.) Its 907' L x 535' wide..

East side mostly flat, right side is hilly..

That is a nice place.

Always wanted enough acreage to shoot on my own place without having to pay range fees and follow range rules.

Problem is, every time I calculated range-to-impact, even ten acres were insufficient to contain pistol and rifle rounds without berms and stout back-stops.

On the other hand, if you have no neighbors or live stock within three miles, blast away.

If you call a 485,000 Sq Ft cabin small, I'd hate to see what you call a lodge. ;-)

I think I have some room to work with.. heres a picture of the finished 12x24 cabin..

Should be a good start.. I have a few dry stream beds on it that are about 150 yards long with about 15 foot high natural walls..
