Friend of mine blew up his Kahr with his handloads. The brass failed completely due to overpressurization and blew out the grips, entire extractor assembly, and tore up some springs. It's salvageable but needless to say, be careful when you are loading, even when it's a cartridge that isn't easily overcharged.

I found the case, it blew out on the unsupported side and the primer was completely flattened with some dishing. Obvious pressure signs combined with possibly weakened brass.

Same thing happened to my buddies Kahr .40. He was shooting some [apparently hot] reloads. Fortunately for him, he was not injured and they fixed the pistol under warranty. I was quite surprised that they covered it under warranty, since it was obviously his fault.
