Given they've been making them since 2011, I'd like to know how to identify the newest as I understand some of the first models to hit the market were problematic.

I have one I bought in 2013 or 2014. I have several hundred if not over 1k rounds through it with zero failures. I haven’t even cleaned it yet intentionally trying to find its failure point.

Seems like mine chronographed high 1300 to low 1400 fps with maxi mags. I don’t remember what it did with the Gold Dot rounds.

I bought one right after they came out and were actually shipping. I never had a problem with it operating. I did have problems getting more that 20 something rounds in each mag (I had 3). I never did get 30 rounds in a mag. Maybe lack of trying. That said, the fireball out the front end with rounds developed for rifles was terrific! I started using the low flash stuff for pistols, mainly Gold Dots. Alas that gun went for another purchase. But I kept the S&W 351PD and Gold Dots!

If I ever get around to it, I may buy another. Just because of the low recoil and large capacity mags.

    Own one?

If so, how do like or dislike it?

It's my understanding they were first put into production in 2011 and there were problems.

Now, in 2018 they've been cured of all problems...supposedly.

If you have one, which year is it or do you know?
I purchased one in 2016 and it has had zero issues. It is a fun gun to shoot!
