Ok guys. Need a Ford tech. Have a 06 Ford explorer. How TF do i get the code for the door? Ive already took pics off the module by the driver side kick panel. None of those numbers work. Did Ford place the code somewhere on the vehicle? If i gotta pull a panel...oh well. I want to leave my ride running while i go into a store.

My freakin son figured out the door code on a Tbird. How the hell he did it, idk. Guess thats why hes now a software engineer....so i know it can be done without going to the dealership and letting some tard touch my lady.

I believe the universal code is 1234 or 1111. At least that's what they usually are from the factory.

It is against the law in Texas to leave your ride running while you go into a store.

I googled it and came up with a few sources, though not for your exact model. But keep in mind I really only looked for a few minutes to see what was out there.

Yep. I usually park next to a locked idling patrol car. As we both eat taco bell. Call me an outlaw i guess. The only difference is my fuel isn't bought with tax money.

Please dont lecture me about the law. Been there, done that.

Oh, you are special. Didn't know seeing police cars or showing a picture of a badge made you an exception.

I thought that law was specifically for UNLOCKED, cars and trucks? Could be wrong. But yeah, I've never seen the statute so I dunno. But have any of yall ever seen a LEO turn off their car, while goin into a store, restaurant?! Even on prisoner transfers, we left the car running.
