I hadn't seen these new commercials. Pretty much 100% of my TV watching is either Netflix or via DVR, so most of the time I see no commercials at all.

Just because this thread piqued my interest, I found a couple of the new commercials on youtube and watched.

I wish I hadn't. Dadgum y'all for makin' me curious!

I'm trying to clear that cackling idiot playing Col. Sanders out of my consciousness right now. Hopefully, playing Little Big Town performing "Girl Crush" at max volume, as I'm doing at the moment, will suffice.

If it doesn't, I may have to resort to some Laura Branigan. I'd hate to do that, though. Once I get "Gloria" in my head, I can't get it out for weeks. That would still be preferable to those KFC commercials. I even followed a link to "The Hall of Colonels" website! Argh!

Just do what I do - listen to a song or ten that you like. Eventually one of them will drive out the other ear worm. For me right now it's Marty Robbins' "Ain't I Right" and "When That Hell Bomb Falls" by Fred Kirby. Doesn't help that they're part of the (modded) soundtrack for a game I play >.>
