    If you and the shooter next to you were of the same skill, then your statement will have some weight.

    Sure the gun helps, but most times people dont know how to shoot in the first place. Just because someone has a fancy whatever dosent mean that they know what they're doing with it.

    +50 on this. I dont care how much money you blow on a 1911, if you cant shoot, that $2500 Nighthawk will not outshoot my $1000 Kimber. Then again, HTex is a Kimber hater anyway.......\m/

    only because i've wasted money on a kimber before.. i rather buy a para ordnance then a kimber now.

    but i stick to glock and any other 1911s i get will probably just be built by fast eddie.

    I have owned 1 kimber too - and I didn't have much luck with it either.

    I have owned several Springfields, and I have two Springfield 1911s right now. I really like the Springers.

    I wouldn't mind a Kimber 4" 1911 - but I don't think I am willing to chance it.
