Post your knives. I think I started one of these pre crash and can't find the old one.

Got this today as a gift from a good friend.

My first knife purchase at 16 with my own money.

First day on my first job I was threatened by a coworker. I carried a steak knife home (I walked to work) then purchased this from the tip out I got the next day from a grocery store in the same shopping center.

I grew on him I guess and he was't pissed after a week or two.

I've dealt with A G Russell for decades. Even though A G died a couple years back, this is an excellent company. One must go to their website to find some real jewels of unique knives which they have, but in too low stock supplies to advertise in their catalogs. leVieux

Not a knife but really sharp and stabby. This Katana is close to 400 years old, has a NBTHK TOKUBETSU HOZON Certificate. The engraving has the makers name and prefecture where it was made. KAN-EI (寛永)1624-1643 A.D, Signed by KANEAKI.

Thats a beauty. Do you happen to know if these are available in the US?

I reckon there’ll be a few kicking around. He makes custom blades to order and I think he has sent more than a few to the US. He is best known for making the original Woodlore knife for Ray Mears.

That model is called the MAK, it’s 12c27 steel. The sheath is a thing of beauty too.

Just picked this one up for a song, Benchmade 87Ti. Was opened but never carried or used. I’ve only had cheap butterfly knives that I got from the fair as a kid so this is my first nice one.

-The top one I use to butter my toast and sometimes double as a flat head screw driver when I don’t want to walk to the garage for a screw driver.
-the next one down is my Spyderco Native 5. It’s the first “premium” EDC I’ve ever had. I don’t think I spent more than $25 or $30 on a knife prior to this one. Got it about a month ago and loving it.
-the next one down is a Benchmade Bugout. Not any better or worse than the Spyderco. Just different. Picked it up about two weeks ago.
-the bottom one is the Kershaw I’ve been carrying since about 2006. Other than being made in PRC, it’s been a solid knife
