The alternative, was Hillary, if a few more had your fucked up attitude she would have done much more,
A vote for a -0- chance is a vote for the enemy
Not sure what you think my attitiude is or what Hillary/2016 has to do with 2024.

I will not be writing in Ron Paul. I am just reporting what KR has said that is causing folks on internet to lose their shit today.

    Looks like he just backtracked:

Over the past 12 hours, I've had a series of productive conversations with members of the Trump's team and I am confident he will be the strong ally gun owners need to defend our Second Amendment rights.

My comments made last night were ill-informed and unproductive. I'm 100% behind Donald Trump and encourage every gun owner to join me in helping send him back to the White House

I didn’t see that in the article. Maybe I missed in in all the blathering about him shooting 3 dirtbags.

He has over a million followers on twitter alone.

The sad reality of the world is there are many people who really do care what he and other figures have to say.
this is the first election he is old enough to vote in. I doubt there are many people who follow him for his political expertise. It sounds like his announcement didn’t go too well for him.

The fact he is voting for someone and not for the lesser of two evils suggests he is mature beyond his years.

Trump also qualifies as "someone", and many think he is the optimal choice. Your characterization of Trump as one of two "evils" and implying his voters are immature -- is this from Kyle's statement?

The mess we "Americans" find ourselves currently in is the result of decades of voting for the lesser of two evils. When you do that, the only thing you are changing is your arrival time in hell.

I understand that perspective, I held it myself when I was very young, but it's an oversimplification.

Trump is the lesser of two evils, woe is us -- true, but a (microscopically) less-oversimplified view is that a vote for [not Trump] is a vote for Harris, and Harris is, even Kyle would agree, the greater of two evils.

The time to promote [not Trump] has come and gone. Kyle should have campaigned harder for RP, donated more money, mailed more pamphlets, made more appearances, etc, etc -- but in any event, having failed to make RP the R candidate for President, he must now accept the consequences of his failure. He is not acting mature beyond his years when he fails to accept the consequences of losing the battle to make RP the R candidate, and tries a futile gesture with a write-in ballot for a person who isn't even running for President. That is an immature action, not a mature one.

The mess we Americans find ourselves in is the result of being lazy and under-involved in our government and politics for over a century. Had we been earnest and involved, our candidates would be better representatives, instead of career liars and worse. Too many Americans know more about the latest pop star than they do about their government.

Those flaws in our society do not get fixed by throwing a hissy fit via write-in ballots for non-candidates. Compromise is an essential part of adulthood and participation in any society. We compromise now with Trump because he's the best choice left, then we work harder so that next time we get someone better than Trump, and to set the stage for future candidates who are better still.

    Harsh.

I doubt young Mr. Rittenhouse asked for all those things to happen to him 4 years ago. At least he's using his notoriety for something pretty good now and I applaud him for it.

That action just made me lose any respect I had for him.

Or he was made enough of a stir to get a response from Trumps team on the subject. But since there’s no official statement or anything Trump could be held to it’s pretty meaningless.

Didn’t trust Trump on gun control before and don’t trust him on gun control now. But at least he appointed people who were willing to overturn his bad policy.

It's all strategy designed to capture attention- and it worked. If he just came out and said he endorses Trump, everyone would be like " so what".
