I’d like to get the two acres beside me, anyone have a lender they’ve worked with they would recommend? It is two acres with septic, well, power and an unfinished garage/barn with possible living quarters.

I was hoping to use the Texas Veterans Land Board but the land itself doesn’t quite appraise for the asking price and they don’t give any value to improvements on the land, just the dirt.

    Out here by the lake!
What's your own banks problem? Most new trucks cost more then 2 acres. It be easier to take your land then repo a vehicle if you didn't want them getting it. Personally if my bank wouldn't do it I pull my money.

My RE mentor’s son was my broker, he’s super chill and knows a LOT of local lenders.

I’m happy to put you in touch with him if you like, shoot me a PM if you’re interested.

I think local lenders familiar-ish with the area are gonna give more options than a national lender.
