    Ironically, he was in court after being convicted of "attempted battery causing substantial bodily harm."

    Court records show he was initially charged in connection to a baseball bat attack with felony assault with a deadly weapon.

    The judge suffered minor injuries and a courtroom deputy suffered a gash to his head and a dislocated shoulder, and this image provided by the court shows the judge standing behind the bench holding her head in her hand.

    The man now faces 13 new charges including coercion with force, intimidation of a public officer, extortion, and multiple counts of battery on a protected person.
