    Sorry, it was sarcasm.

    See post #2.
    Yeah, I got it now.

So we've got a "general collection of bad guys getting what they deserve" thread and we occasionally break out a particular incident for its own thread. I can live with that, especially for a store owner fighting back as beautifully as this one.

I’m not going to regurgitate TPC 9 on use of force and use of deadly force, but under Texas law the employee’s use of force and deadly force are justified.

If you disagree, please cite the relevant statute.
Not a lawyer and Texas might be different when it comes to these kind of situation but below YouTube has more detail legal perspective taking into account Las Vegas law. Again my personal feeling is he had every right to stab perpetrators but we currently live in society with laws whether we like it or not….

You don’t need to be a lawyer. How Texas and Nevada implement their self defense/defense of others laws are very different, despite subscribing to similar doctrines (castle, stand your ground).

Feelings don’t matter when it comes to Texas’ laws on the use of force and deadly force. If you believe you would ever act in self defense, it’s wise to know what the law says.

    It’s actually an easy read.

I like watching the videos, but I stop when he starts yammering. He's a so-called self-defense "expert" who pretty much pushes you to not defend yourself. And he's the type that says if you're not carrying a high-zoot red-dotted HK double-stack AIWB, then you aren't serious about self-defense.

He's the Yankee Marshal with less bad language.....

    I disagree. Threads merged.

Are there any more out there that I've missed?
Thread merger more often than not just clutters the continuity of both threads. Better solution is to lock either all the threads after the first one or lock all of the threads with the fewer replies ( due to vague title, posted in wrong category, thread starter is a dickhead and nobody clicks on their threads, etc) and leave the original or most viewed .

I would also prefer locking to merging.

Interesting suggestion. I've always sought to preserve all the good stuff from redundant threads. I'll definitely give some thought to another way of doing things. I imagine (hope) that the other mods see this and do some thinking along the same lines.

Could you put a link to the open thread before Locking the redundant one? It would point folks to the discussion if they miss it in a search.

    He's already backpedaling.....

    Phuck that self-proclaimed "expert".

I support everyone carrying weapons when they are vetted and trained to do so.

Watched it again. Knife Koreans skill is underestimated. I like his grab up high allowing him to duck a swing and he goes for leg damage and doesn’t let go until the knife stops the threat.
He was actually pretty fast with that knife too. He connected with just about every strike too.

Would be robber was phucked from the get go!

Only thing that would’ve made it better is if he’d have rammed that knife up his ass after the neck stick & used it as a handle when when he drug him to the door.

Saw on another forum today that the crook is alive & in the hospital.
