As a former laser engraver extraordinaire working in a trophy shop in the 80's, I can imagine how nerve racking it must have been when he finally loaded up the slide after about a million practice runs on scrap. Some of these new lasers have built-in cameras installed that will aid in centering the image. Very impressive. I think you've found a niche that will bring you plenty of work if you want it.
