My brother a retired LEO sent this to me very scary.
The bottom of the trigger housing group and ejection port are visible beneath the "squirt gun "camouflage.

The next time you see or read a headline bashing police for shooting someone with a "Toy" or "Replica" gun, remember this picture. Indianapolis PD confiscated this "Toy" water gun during an arrest, after they realized that the suspect has hidden a Mossberg 12GA shotgun inside it, and it was a fully functioning weapon disguised to fool police. The threat is real, all day, everyday. Still want to come to work with us and show us how "Wrong" we're doing our jobs?! People are constantly trying to find better ways to kill us, so come on! We'd be happy to have the help... No? I didn't think so.

You see this and it's awful thinking that someone made this toy into a gun with horrible intentions. Seeing this must be more difficult for LEO. The image of a 12 gauge housed in a 5 year old's toy will certainly pass through their minds when they see any toy gun. This image would be my worst nightmare if I were LE.

I can't figure out how the action is going to work in that getup.
As for the video, lots of misinformation there.

So my takeaway from this thread is you and your brother are both dupes that got taken in by just another B.S. story floating around social media? Congrats.

Didn't say you were stupid, said you got duped by a story on social media. Happens to plenty of intelligent people that don't have enough skepticism. It has become such an epidemic that Facebook introduced a new category to flag a post as a fake story in addition to the existing spam/porn/threats/etc. that they've had for a while.

The takeaway here is just to vet your stories before blasting them out there. Even retracting it after the fact isn't good enough as evidenced by this thread here where post #4 was the OP realizing his mistake and taking it back but the thread continued on with the discussions taking the story seriously. That's how this works, once garbage is out there it's very hard to kill it.

What does it matter whether this story was true or not that cops came across these? The fact that some SICK M'rF'r thought to make something like this is SCARY enough!!! and at least this "Duped" story brought it here to us and LEO to watch out for!! The real F'ing MORONS that came up with this idea for whatever reason, just gives more bad ideas to the bad element out there to do this.....

Have seen examples of this starting about two to three years ago. It is amazing the creativity of some. I wish they would put it to better use.
