    I'm impressed.

That you publicly admitted to owning that gun.

So I gotta ask, do you have any boars with tits on them?

Well it is going to make a daisy of a .22 wmr carbine I think. I thought it looked kindof cool, Like an extra long buntline. And Atleast 5% of buying motivation was getting laughs from the guys on here.

Are we suppose to laugh with you, or at you?

    Asking for that friend again!

The stock was all metal and a close reproduction of the 1873 Colt Peacemaker stock, they sell for 2-300 dollars when available. The stock requires a custom made screw for the hammer screw ( Ihave never found one with the original screw) and if the base of the grip frame is not factory notched, a dremel slot is easy. These are even listed in the BATFE pamphlet of Curio and Relics.

My unfinished maple stock arrived while I'm out of town at work, if yall want a peak I can post a pic when i get home tonight.

So that repro of the 1873 peacemaker stock is curio and relic and you can fit it to a less ridiculous [more normal length] revolver with no atf problems? That is pretty cool!

(Didn't doubt you on that, I meant the shiner thing didn't sound right, looked it up and it was actually a relationship with an advertising company that dissolved based on one of that agency's executive's comments)

Thanks for the Shiner update and I'll go back to switching between Zigenbock and Shiner. With a few gripframe modifications you can adapt a 1851 Navy shoulder stock reproduction to fit most pistols, I did it with a Ruger Single Six .22 and a 16" barrel.

NO! The legal status ONLY applies to those firearms listed as Curio and Relics with stocks...ALL other pistols must either have 16" barrels or be registered with BATFE as a Short Barrelled Rifle ( fee used to be $10)
