so after a trip to the range now I'm in the market for a scope for my new 464... I've found the scope but wondering what kinds of rings people set up with on their lever actions...

Okay, finally got my g/f's camera back from Best Buy after her and my cousin broke it at my now ex-lease.

Top gun is a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag and the bottom gun is a Winchester Model 94 in good ole 30-30. Its an early 80s model that I bought from a guy at work.

I have always had a few lever actions around. They are just too much fun to shoot, and also very handy to use on the farm & ranch.

    Middle- Rossi 38/357 Carbine
Bottom- Winchester 94AE-44 Magnum-24"barrel,3x9x40 Seals scope

    Here are some Rimfires-
    Top-Marlin 56,First Year Metal Receiver,NIB-Unfired
    Middle-Marlin 1897 Annie Oakley,NIB-Unfired

Currently pissed beyond all belief at my choice of lever action and at Mossberg right now... first off I don't know why I bought a new 464 when I could've gotten on gunbroker and gotten a 336 for less that had all the kinks worked out so it was a smooth action... IDK maybe I'm retarded... then to make it all better I buy a gun that is drilled and tapped for scope mounts that nobody F*king sells mounts for... my life is swell...

It happens. I'd sell or trade that Mossy for a 336 any day. I loved my 336 and I shouldn't have gotten rid of the one I had. But I learned from it. I guess. What happened to your gun? Is Mossberg going to fix it?

The scope mounts will come on the market in time, but what is the story on the action? What kind of customer service is Mossberg providing?

I was contemplating one of these as a gift, but maybe I better wait.

personaly i don't like scopes on lever guns they were meant to be shot open sight makes them easier to carry and they look better to. just my opinion though you know what people say about opinions.

    Marlin MXLR .308 Marlin Express?

I think this will be the next addition to my safe. Does any one have experience with this rifle? What is your opinion? What is the trigger like from the factory? Is it adjustable?

I know what people say about opinions ... you are right! No scopes my my levers.

On Rossi, you can find them, in stainless, at Republic Arms in Houston for under $500. Octo barrels will be a little more, blue'd rifles a little less.
