I like how that turned out! Being new to guns, I was considering an M9A1, but thought it was just a little too large for my hands. I had no idea that a compact model existed! Definitely going to have to check that out.

Here is an older picture of two compacts (with no rail) that I used to have. You can see the size comparison next to fullsize model:

My PX4 9 with Talon grips. I enjoy shooting this piece more than any in my inventory. Over a thousand rounds and not a single malfunction with the pistol using a variety of ammo. Very reliable and just a pleasure to shoot. It's also my wife's favorite - She shot my XD-S 45 one round and said "I'm done". lol. Love our Beretta.

Issue M9. This one, loaned out to the USAR service pistol team, has had in excess of 20,000 rds of ball through it without a breakdown or malfunction.

Just picked up an old Beretta 76 and an old Beretta 74 (with the 6" barrel and the rear adjustable sight mounted not to the slide but to the top rear of the barrel--near the breech) to go along with my bunch of Berettas (see post #119). I won't actually have them for a couple weeks, but I'm sure looking forward to having them.

Picked up another Beretta yesterday :)

I still need an Elite II hammer and those special grips from WAL (a guy at the Beretta Forum that installs medallions in the grip panels)... But, it does have a D spring. And, I removed that Italian roll pin and put in the USA style lanyard loop pin

Just a super quick photo from my phone:

Mine's been used a little. It still runs pretty good, and is surprisingly accurate for a gun with such small sights.

Nice piece. I have a 32 Tomcat in Stainless. The empty popping out the top took some getting used to.
