Wandered out to the range today to work on form. Still a hiccup or two along the way. Just need more practice. Today I was shooting with both eyes open. If I held my mouth right I could see both the the scope level and the target at the same time. That's when it started coming together along with several other thing I tried. Here's the last group at 200 yds, .846 MOA

Alright, here’s one. Been playing around with the el-cheapo Savage 12FV from Cabelas. Used some Berger 55g .223 target bullets in weight matched range pick up LC brass. My standard deviations were terrible ~25 or so, at 3144fps, but the target doesn’t lie. Wind was kind of gusty.

Picked up a '54 CZ-52 today to replace one I used to have:

#2, first magazine, "I remember the trigger pull was quite stiff and slappy, and there's fireballs"
#4, second magazine, range guy wanted to shoot it, too, because fireballs!
#1, third magazine, "OK, I guess it doesn't blow up and now I remember the trigger."

Only at 5 yards for function testing. Just a single dud from my 20 year old South African Tokarev ammo.

The first groupon the right was my sight in for 100 yard 2 weeks ago. Pulled on at about 7 o'clock. The group on the left side was after initial adjustment. Pulled one on it too about 3 o'clock. Knew as soon as I pulled the trigger they were off.

Changed sights on my 22/45 today. Took the reddot off and put a Pinty reflex sight on it. A friend has one and loves it. Figured what the hell, for less than $25 I have nothing to lose. I like it.
Top group on the first target was just seeing where it was after 5yd sight in. Adjusted and put 20 rounds for effect with Winchester HVHP at 15 yards with a bag. Second target was 25 yards with my hand braced on the bench. Works for me.

Are you coming to the reunion? I'd like to fire a magazine out of that gun.

Took the new Savage Stealth Evolution in 6mm Creedmoor for a little range time since I had other guns to shoot.

All I had handy and free was a Leupold 1.25-4x scope so I mounted it up. I am getting a new scope for it so I didn't want to tear one off another gun.

I also plan on working up my own loads but factory Hornady ammo was handy so I went with it.

Given the limitations of a low power scope with a thick reticle and factory offerings I think it shows real promise.

5@100 yards and I fully expect it to get much better.
