Anyone here take advantage of it? I got the pricesheet and am contemplating a purchase.

The fine print states "state sales tax will be applied where applicable"

Sooooo, I just got off the phone with the rep and she stated she has to enter the entire order and then see if "the system" adds it on. Seems silly to me, but she simply wasn't able to tell me if I would be charged TX state sales tax.

Does anyone here have any personal experience with this?

I haven't used the program since it was pulled from Promotive back to direct with Leupold, but I was not charged tax through the Promotive sale.

OK guys, placed the order and <drum roll>...was charged sales tax (8.25% which is the going Bexar County rate).

I talked to the rep, confirmed that the scope was being sent from Oregon (not some TX warehouse). I asked if he understood the rationale for taxation.

I guess it's just a sign of the times....tax the economy to it's knees and beyond.
