Reminds me of mine (model 94) that I had to get rid of before my venture to Texas.

I like mine flat top. 30-30's and 35's. Will like to add a 45-70 one of these days.

Leverguns are tough to beat. Have a 94 Winchester cut to trapper length that rides under the back seat of my truck. Hunt with most of my levers. No particular order they are:
    1892 Winchester in 38/40
    1893 Marlin in 32/40
1894 AE Winchester in .444 Marlin
    Marlin 375 in 375 Winchester
Couple of 94 Winchesters in 30/30.
Add in the ones I've sold or traded over the year, and I've messed with a bunch of them

I really like levers. I wish I still had my old model 99 Savage.

Sadly most Savage 99's have disappeared into gun collectors vaults.
    Rarely see them anymore.
That makes the Moonpie a sad panda.

Check out the Wanenmacher gunshow in Tulsa this fall if you want to see Savage 99s, Don't see the that often around here, but that show always has dozens, from beaters to mint condition. Prices range from OK to "you got be kidding me!".

Guilty. Though I still shoot mine. It's a 300 Savage. I'd share a pic, but its in the back of the safe.
