I went to Lewisville Gunshow today. There were not a lot of things there.
I found some good things, there was a lady from carrolton selling 1.5 inch
thick gun belts for $50, seemed like a good deal, probably will buy sometime
next year. She makes it in carrolton.
The ammo seems to be priced more than what I can buy outside.
1000 115 FMJ federal was 249.50
the .22 were priced a bit higher
22lr 320 federal automatch was 23.50, i could get the same at whitewing
weaponary for 19.99
There was also some powder less .22 for 500 for $60
There were lots of bolt action rifles and knifes. There were some pure leather
cowboy style holsters, shoulder holsters and stuff. There are also some
people with old colt and rugers, the handle looked worn out.
There was a lady selling ammo cans, she had 4 sizes, I got 2rd biggest for
$20. The one I got has almost no rust but some others had rust
There was a gun show supposedly retiring by Nov 30 and had some extra sales on
his guns ( mostly striker fired and 1911, very less revolvers).
I was hoping to look for revolvers. I am planning to sell my beretta 22 next year and
get a uberti 22 12shot revolver and maybe a 357 revolver(leaning more towards DA).
Overall, I am skipping lewisville next time, it has lot less tables than mesquite or dallas
shows.
