LF365 Slide with Holosun 507k

I’ve got a Holosun 507k arriving later today that was gifted to me by a buddy of mine. I’ve been looking at slides to upgrade my P365 and came across the Live Free Armory LF365 and wanted to know if anyone here has experience with them?

There are a lot of other options out there but the LF365 slide looks like a really nice slide for a very reasonable price. Since it will be my main carry gun and I really don’t care much about cosmetics, I’m even considering saving a few bucks and buying one of their blemished slides.

How does it improve the gun? For an additional $300 it should improve it a great deal! Is it more accurate? Is it that much more comfortable? Just curious as to why someone would buy a good gun to start with and then spend an additional $300. My friend and neighbor bought a 365 a few months ago and loves it. He asked me about them and I told him they are probably very good guns.

OK, my bad! I should have dug deeper into the sight info. I can see why that would make a great addition!

Fit and finish is great. I did end up getting the blemished slide and only noticed a very small spot under the + and - button on slide that has a blemish but it's very hard to see. It's a carry gun anyway so who cares. Night sights go on on Monday.

I'll let you guys know how it performs once I get everything transferred over and shoot it. Pretty excited. Now I need to find a new holster that will fit the optic.

Hey man,

I actually just picked this slide up and the holosun 507k. My slide came with no screws and the 2 sets of screws in the holosun did not fit the slide.. did you have this same issue?

My slide came with the required screws. I’d just give them a call, I’m sure they’ll take care of you. Double check you box and inside the striker assembly channel for a little baggie.

I actually finally got my holster, everything moved over from my factory slide, and went to the range the day before yesterday. I’ve never shot such a small gun. I’ll really need to practice with this one. Target is me trying to get the Holosun sighted in. On a plus note, this is 110 rounds with the new slide without a malfunction.

After this trip, I immediately went home and ordered the GrayGuns trigger and M-Carbo spring kit. Not happy with the factory trigger. Still haven’t decided on iron sights.

They are sending me some out, I was going crazy thinking the slide was milled wrong haha.

I would 100% reccomend getting an XL frame. I went that route and it made it 100x better shooting the gun and impacted nothing in terms of concealability. I havent transfered my iron sights over yet, I guess it would be good to have if the holosun fails but guess you could always use the sight frame as your guide. I kind of like the look with no iron sights!

I also agree on the trigger, I just ordered the armory craft flat trigger myself.

Sweet setup... I have a couple Live Free items, and they are all quality for inexpensive. I may look at these slides to upgrade my carry 365. Thanks and pls keep us posted if anything chnages!
