Applied for my CHL renewal a week ago. Got a letter in the mail stating that my original prints are no longer acceptable. Have to get new prints taken but I'm one of those unfortunate few that have genetically light fingerprints. I don't know how my prints will change for the better as I grow older...

What a hassle. Anyone got any tips?

The digital prints have an extremely low rejection rate.

Back when I had my prints done, tho I did not have any issues, the feller that was doing them said that a lot of people run into that issue. He said that it would help to use some good hand lotion for a few days before you go to get printed......make sure that your skin/prints are well moisturized/hydrated so they will be better detectable. Maybe that will help "bring them out" a little better for ya??? Hope it helps....

Thank you sir. I will give that a shot! Hope it doesn't end up giving me girly-hands... I don't know if a CHL is worth that ;)

    c'mon man............Shaq moisturizes:roflfunny:

Also, the day you go to get printed, ya might not want to use the moisturizer right before....so the oil doesn't interfere with the process. The feller that did mine had a small spray bottle of water to use on the dry finger tips to rehydrate them, said that usually does the trick.
