It's been raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock for the past two hours here.

The lightning and thunder woke my little guy up and he was crying so I got up at 0600 to keep him company.

We've got a seasonal creek in the back yard, not sure if it's running yet or not, but another hour or so of this rain and it will be.

July 11 we got 4 inches in one hour...since then only a few drops today. Lawn went from straw brown to jungle green and now back to brown. With the cost of our water I am waiting on the rain.

We had a small storm last night as I was leaving work. Been so long since we've had rain it took me a while to remember how to turn my wipers on. Hopefully we get more soon.

My wife had a 5 gallon bucket sitting out in the open. By the time it quit raining here it was 1" from the top of the bucket. The news is reporting around 4" in the Kaufman Terrell area.

All I know is it was a lot of rain.
