LNL priming question

If your press is used enough how are you priming when you get tired of punching holes in nickels(this was the tech's response to my question of hhow to deal with a wallered out area where the primer punch hits the press).

So far it looks like the FA is the winner at $60 shipped.

I drilled out the worn spot and put a steel pin in the hole.

Cost me nothing and is fixed permanently.

Did you drill through?

No, I just drilled maybe a 1/4" or less. Just enough to hold the pin straight.

I used a 12" long 1/8" drill bit that I already had but is available at any home improvement warehouse. I pulled the primer assembly out and drilled straight through the top. You already have a mark there so alignment is done.

The pin is just a cut off nail that I can easily replace if need be. It is just dropped in the hole.

It ain't nothing fancy but fixed the issue.

Nickel works fine for me. Also, Hornady reportedly had improved primer seating punches introduced a couple of years ago.
