Anyone familiar with A Place To Shoot in San Antonio? At the pistol range we had green silhouette targets. So far from a past few visits we were getting normal Concentric targets in red like the rifle range has but to a smaller scale.

    Anyone know why?

I bet the people who own/run it know why.

One of my local ranges said they are having trouble getting silhouette targets.

That's interesting. I bought 100 B-27 targets back in December from an online store for $33. Granted they are orange. Same store has plenty in stock at a slightly higher price.

I call bullshit. Anyone can get anything they want if they are willing to pay for it. When I hear somebody say something like that it usually translates as "I can't find ...... at the price I used to get it at and won't pay the new price", etc., etc. Especially a target printed on a piece of paper.

Charlie, they had them but in a different color and it was hard to see your hits on the dark dark blue ones especially if it was in the shade. Yes it may have been can't get the ones they wanted a the price they wanted or it could be the supplier didn't have them, doesn't really matter in the long run what the reason was.

I always turn my targets around & put 1" orange sticky dots on the back to aim at.
With my eyes, it is MUCH easier to see than pistol sights on black targets.
