One weekend I binged every version of the Magnificent Seven. They ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous. The Yul Brenner original is still the best in my book.

Except Yul Brenner wasn't in the original...

He was in the original with Steve McQueen. Robert Vaughn, James Coburn and Charles Bronson.

My favorite western. Great cast, magnificent soundtrack, one of the most sensual and alluring woman ever to grace a screen.

I loved reading Lonesome Dove. One of the greatest examples of American literature. Didn't even know there was a movie version, but if it's worth watching I'm game.
