    Wow...quite the loss to aeronautics.

    Did Oshkosh in '96 (B-17). Week before the show most crews spend the day at the field getting ready or wanderin makin new friends then in the evening the cantina would open at the field and everyone would go eat etc.

    Poberenzy would not be there. He always went and got in his P-51 and would buzz the shit outta the Cantina while everybody was there!

    Good times. Good times.

    He joined the US National Unlimited Aerobatic Team and was part of the team that won the World Championship in 1972 at Salon, France. In 1973, he won the individual US National Unlimited Aerobatic Championship. I believe that his father was a founder of the EAA.
