Long time lurker/reader - New poster - Houston, TX

Hello all,
I'm a Houston local and have read the forums for years without posting. Have been distracted from the shooting hobby for a while with family/life but looking to finish up my projects and get more active. I have a solid collection of ARs I've built, 3-gun/IDPA geared toys, HD and clay shotguns, a few NFA items, and other misc items/projects. Would love to get back into IDPA around here...just hard to make it work with my schedule and not very many options close to the loop - any recommendations appreciated!

Will be moving soon toward Atascocita. What's the best range out that way? Any clays or outdoor options?

Thank god not where I'm at (inside loop near memorial park). I'm aiming to move though and the area I'm heading to sure did get hammered (Atascocita) - though this was mainly from water run off from up north (Conroe dam open, etc.). Wondering still how recovery, real estate, and future water management will work here!
