I have owned a couple of 101 Pigeon Grade shotguns. I think they are beautiful. They fit me well and point great, but both kicked the "fire" out of me. A mercury recoil reducer in the butt stock tamed that situation.
Also be aware that finding replacements parts for a 101 Pigeon Grade Winchester is very hard. Last time I needed parts there was only two places that claimed to have parts for them. Neither had the part I was looking for, though.
