Looking at a couple rifles...

Was over my uncle's, as he's getting up in his years, he's looking to sell his rifles... After looking at them, I asked how much he wanted for them; his reply was "make me an offer".

I have no idea what would be fair???


The first one is a British .303. Neat that it's old and in good condition...

The second one is a Rem. 760 Gamemaster 30.06

Any input would be appreciated.

The top one appears to be a No. 5 MK I Jungle carbine but I can't tell if it has the correct rubber recoil pad. If not, it's a chopped SMLE. If it's a real Jungle Carbine in 100% it would be worth around $400 to $500 (my guess). You could check GunBroker and see if anyone has a genuine JC on there for sale.

The Remington would probably be around $500 but again, check GunBoker and see what they're going for. The scope doesn't look special; what brand and power is it?
