Looking for a job as a plumbers helper

I worked for a year in North Dakota doing non destructive testing until I lost my job right after Christmas. I am finishing school and will be done april 1st. Im looking for a more stable job than the oil business and I didnt realize how much I love Texas till I moved back. I dont really know how your supposed to learn the plumbing trade any info would be appreciated. All the jobs I see want a license.

Check for a Pipefitters local around you they should also have a plumbers apprenticeship.
