Austin proper would be even better. First hand experience only please, self or immediate family.

Must know their field inside and out, and be trustworthy.

This is my first rodeo, so I have no prior no experience with HAs.

I'm 2 years into my 1st rodeo utilizing audiologists from Burnet to Georgetown to North Austin. Chosen in conjunction with my insurance requirements. All 4 were very professional, dedicated, sincere, & seemingly knowledgeable. I've forgotten who I saw in N Austin. But imo, it's all a racket. I don't think any of them (people or hardware) are a panacea.

Yes, the business seems shrouded in mystery as to pricing and services. Too bad you need the people to tune the hardware. Any advice in choosing both? Insurance isn't a consideration for me. We can go offline if you prefer.
