    Planning on a semi-retro build, and i want a middy, 16" barrel, with a C7 upper.

    My barrel wishlist
    ·16"
    ·mid gas
    ·Non f-marked FSB
    ·1/7 or 1/8
    ·preferably a lightwight profile
    ·chrome lined would be nice

Im ok with either type of feedramps, as tnte has c7 uppers with m4 feedramps and without

Delton has this, https://www.del-ton.com/AR-15-16-Mid-Length-LW-Barrel-p/bl1088.htm#, which is more or less what I'm looking for, but I'm wondering if theres something else out there that i haven't seen

I would prefer a plug and play option, as i currently don't have the time, space or tools to roll my own, i could use a smith, but if there's an option out there that meets my needs out the gate...

I'm not a brand snob by any means but there are some better barrels out there. I think Brownells has a decent line of retro specific stuff.

Remember the light or pencil barrels tend to vertically string point of impact as they heat up.

I'm disabled and did a very light build with a pencil barrel and could really tell the difference when shooting a lot. I got rid of it.

Just for info. Weather it matters depends on you your build and expectations.

Im aware of pencil barrels heat issues. Brownells doesn't have exactly what i want

That Del-Ton is 1:9, and I believe the larger FSB diameter - not pencil profile.
I've actually been looking for the same thing for a project, PSA seems to be the only choice - but the front sites are F marked. I'm not ruling out Nitride, from my understanding it actually lasts longer than chrome lining.
What's available and in stock: https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa...ride-slim-pencil-profile-barrel-assembly.html
    What I really want: https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa...o-1-7-ultra-light-weight-barrel-assembly.html

I don't need the upper itself, that will be a C7 that is going to be sourced by me

At this point i plan on seeing what a few local shops will be able to install a non-f marked FSB on my barrel of choice for
