I am not so sure about NcStar as the scope is not expensive. I know that price necessarily does not indicate quality. I have a red-dot with QD mount but wanted a variable scope to see a little farther. I thought about just a magnifier but really want variable power. I am wanting to stay around the price of my Aimpoint C3 but less money spent on scope means more ammo.
