Need to put some lens covers on a Vortex Razor HD Gen III. Only dimensions I can locate for the scope are 1.3" objective lens and 1.8" for the eye lens. Seems like all things lens covers are measured in metric so converted 1.3"=33.02mm(this is also a '24' whatever that means). Eye piece lens 1.8"=45.72mm. The eye piece also has a focus ring that I can only assume will be rendered inoperable with the lens cover.

The focus eye piece isn't used very often. Set it once and done until your eye sight changes. Don't sweat it.

I measure scope parts with my calipers and take a picture of it. That way when I'm at a shop I can find the correct covers.

Butler Creek covers do the job and are usually available.

Vortex makes them as well. Their site probably has what you need including a list of what fits your scope.

There are higher end flip up caps available but I'm not real familiar with them.

Second the Butler Creek. They are fairly cheap and work. I have mine where the eye piece opens to the right, I am right handed. That way it stays out of the way of cap bills and visors when open.

Thanks all! I ended up going with Vortex Defenders. At $19.00 ea. they weren't the most expensive - by far. And only a bit more than the Butler Creek covers. These are supposed to lay flat when open - I think. But if they don't that open to the right is a neat solution!
