    Hello all,

This is kind of a special request and any help would be appreciated.

Back in the summer of 2008 I sold my Model 29 in .44 mag to Collector Firearms in Houston, Texas. This pistol was a gift from my father on my 21st birthday and it was keep it or pay rent due to the economy at the time.

I would really like to have it back if I could find it. Unfortunately I'm still trying to run down the serial number somehow. Here are a few things I remember.

    1. It had an 8" plus barrel. I don't remember if it was the 3/4 or the rarer 3/8.

    2. It came with a tan shoulder holster set up for right handed person.

    3. I remember having S&W run the serial number and it was originally a .41 special converted to .44 Mag at the factory.

    4. This was in the summer of 2008.

    5. The gun had some wear but was in great shape.

Any help would be much appreciated if you or someone you know might have this pistol. I know it's a long shot but I thought it would be worth asking.

    Thank you - Andrew
