WD, that there is funny (...I don’t care who ya are!).

My use of the word “richer” seems to have set some folks off. I specifically selected that word because I thought it was nebulous enough so as to NOT raise any sorta controversy! (Wrong!!... that’s what I get for thinkin’j.

Bottomline: Congratulations to Barrett on some very nice contract wins for their little company!

Considering how much the government over pays for everything, I bet they will be quite a bit richer.

Speaking as someone who has done gubment work, the cost is much higher due to specs. Special materials that cost more, union wages, additional inspections, certified payroll, and other things that drive up the cost.

I guess they have a reason for those specs, but it almost always could be done cheaper. But if you want the contract, you have to follow the specs.
