    Meh... just buy whatever is on sale. They all die after 4-5 years of typical use regardless of the brand.

    If you're trying to save weight or need a more rugged battery then the Optimas are a good choice, but for a boring commuter car they aren't really worth it.

    If you belong to AAA they will come to your house / work and replace the battery. I had one done for $99.00. 3 year replacement warranty. I think they are made by johnson controls (same people who make most of the batteries )
