Since we already have a rant about email notifications, I'll continue to let it out.

Texas 30.06 is sending me 3-5 emails per day to tell me about new establishments on the list. Of course it's the same 5 or 6 places over and over, so I am about to go in and do the same shit for them too. I don't know why I'm always the lucky one to get so much junk and spam mail from all these places. Maybe because they know it irritates the shit out of me.

I think y'all are the only 3 people in the world who want email notifications from youtube. Seriously, I had to create a rule in my email program to send any email from youtube or with youtube in the title straight to the deleted items folder.

Same. I find them quite annoying.

And it is quite easy for them to tell if emails get opened. They embed some sort of web beacon in their emails that's lets them know when they're opened.

Its been probably 2 years for me, maybe more

    My sincerest condolences. ;)

Damn sure having no problems getting the ads suddenly interrupting my subscribed channels that were previously ad free.

    $12/month?? No way ...

Yep, but do most Youtube watching on my TV using Roku, or the built-in smart TV YT app ... no help there.

Same here. I've noticed the ads have really ramped up the past couple of months. I had a 3 month YouTube Premium trial too that really spoiled me on it. I've thought about doing the $12/month but have held off so far.

It’s election season. They’re gonna take advantage of it.

Along the same lines, I lost all email notifications from this site (TGT) a long time ago.
I get notifications from other sites.

I started getting email notifications again as of last night.
Evidently what ever was changed started them up again.

ETA: I'm referring to on TGT.
