What a great rifle. Many won't like this- but way better than the AR15.

Godd rifle. Not the equal of an AR.

Can't really disagree or agree- but not the lessor either. Both has advantages, AR had available all types of parts and add-on parts. The AR comes in many configurations (including calibers)but we all know it's disadvantages. BUTT-- if I had to grab between a standard AR15A2 configuration and the Daewoo K2 (both with no access to replacement parts) it's the Daewoo hands down.

Nice rifle, I have the DR200, and have put the pistol grip, Storm Weeks stock adapter and a handful of other parts that made it 922r compliant.

Spare parts have been an issue haven't they?

In reality either would be fine. I have 9 ARs so I know them inside and out. The K2 is an interesting from the functionality/design aspect. It, took the best of the AR, the AK, and the FAL. (but then again you know that).
I also have an IMI Galil, good rifle but too darn heavy in the ARM configuration, even with the bipod off.

Guess I'm just kind of having a "Daewoo K2 Day". :O)

It is a cool rifle. Especially from a design and historical point of view. They replaced the M16 with this when the started their indigenous rifle program. Did a good Job also.

I always thought you guys that had obtained an imported daewoo were lucky.

    I have a couple of Daewoos. A K1A1 and a lovely K2.
    Marvelous arms, they are.

Ain't gonna take the troll-bait debate for a second, though.

Sean, you made my weekend-end complete.
That classic argument skit. You studied it in Attorney-College I'll suppose?
If there is anything extant that even begins to approach the wit mastery of Monty Pythons Flying Circus I'd like to know!!!

The argument clinic is classic Monty Python. Nothing really compares
