Vmax, that is a gorgeous gun. I love the curved grip and I was not aware the Redhawk was available in an 8 shot .357mag. Yours looks to be a shorter barrel by the picture and that would be one devastating carry weapon. Is that a special order gun? I have 2 stainless Redhawks, both in my favorite caliber of .41mag.
No jokes about not knowing those came in 22lr.I want to kill a hog with it real bad View attachment 155510
I have been eye balling one of these or the.new sig p322.I've been a fan of Ruger revolvers for over 4 decades. I love their rifles as well, but just could never warm up to the Ruger semi-auto pistols.....until this past weekend. I have been looking for a smaller, lighter .22lr semi auto for my Grandsons smaller hands and weaker upper body muscles. I came across a Ruger SR22 that has interchangeable grips for smaller hands. It is really a great looking pistol and after reading all about it, plunked down the cash to take it home. I had it out at the range Saturday and put 250 rounds through the gun. Not a single malfunction with 4 different types of ammo. Sights are dead on, right out of the box at 25yds.. It only weighs 17 ounces which is about half of what he was trying to shoot. I really think he is going to love shooting this little gun. He will eventually get it from Grandpa when he turns 18, but can come over and shoot it with me anytime he wants.
