For a mere $160, you get an 8 hour course (ours went to 9 hours) in which you will slowly build your night-time shooting skills. The first half of the day starts with very basic shooting drills which progressively become more challenging, building up to a felony traffic-stop simulation in which you must make ~30 yard shots on suspects hiding behind car doors. (Yes, you can shoot the car).
Night time is doing the same more advanced drills previously done during the day, but incoporating handheld and weapon mounted lights. The final drill is a dynamic and partnered. The two of you must engage multiple threats hiding behind cars at ~50 yards, and you must constantly change your positions.
This is not a course for a beginner shooter. The course counts as 8 hours of TCOLE training, and is oriented toward police work, but is open to non-cops as well. (I was the only non-cop in the class).
Bring lunch, water, gun lube, spare batteries, cleaning supplies for your WML lens, and spare ammo to shoot during the lunch break if you want.
