Luepold Vari-X III 3.5-10 40mm

For sale is my Leupold VARI-X III scope. It is in excellent condition, very light use. Never abused, dropped or any of that non-sense. Always has BC flip ups on it, and they are included. Not included is the original box or any rings. This is for the scope only. $350, prefer local but willing to ship. Pictures are of scope on my rifle, will get better pics of scope shortly.

what caliber is that rifle, and what ADJ. butt plate is that...?

i have a great affinity for thumbhole stocks, and that looks great man....

.270 at the moment. I made the adjustable butt plate from some scrap 4mil aluminum. I only made it adjustable to two positions, prone and sit/stand.

i realize you are trying to sell the scope but what you charge to make another adj. plate like that....?

and would you happen to have another pic or two of that...?

I can get you some more pics of it. I didn't spend too much time finishing it perfectly, more concerned about it's function.

I'm not sure about making another one, I could if I had the stock to trace the shape I suppose.

well if it is larger than the stock i can fit it, and polish the edge

if it is smaller i can put a beauty plate between the plate and the stock...

If you're seriously interested, I have a stock Remington 700 butt plate. I can make one rough fit to it, and you can pick it up if you like.
