Primers are still hard to come by. I have a few hundred large rifle magnum primers that I will not use as I sold that gun. Can I use them in my standard rifle reloads and how much do I need to reduce the powder charge to keep the same pressure, if any?
Loading for a 7.65 Arg Mauser with H335.

    Thanks.

You didn't say if you're running the minimum powder charge for that particular rifle or if you're at max. If at the minimum, I would not change anything when switching to the magnum primer. If you're at max, I would reduce by two full grains and then work back up to your max load. You should not see any real difference in the two, but it pays to be cautious.

I never go more than 1/2 way between min and max. I worry too much, it is after all made in 1891 and I am forming my own cases out of mixed 30-06 brass picked off the ground at the range. Thanks for the advice.
