Making donations of stuff sucks

Did some thinning out of my closet & I have a pile of XXL clothes I'm never going to wear again. The clothes aint perfect but I hate to toss them. Got an old stereo the wife dragged home from her parents & 4 speakers, a package of 2 ceiling light, another ceiling light & a bunch of wicker crap the wife has dragged home. I tried Amvets & Purple Heart they can't get around to it anytime soon. I want the stuff gone because a lot of it is stuff the wife has dragged home from her parents. I guess they can't get anyone to pick it up either.

Funny thing I can drag it out to the curb & it will be gone in less then 2 hours. I did some things lest week & was sursprised how quick it was gone.

Salvation Army has a pickup service. Not available in all areas (if you live in Terlingua, for example).

Catholic Charities might pick up. If not there, call a local Vet's organization. They can use almost anything.

Goodwill does not pick it up. I'm not loading it up to dad over to a donation site to unload it again.

If you want it gone, load it up in your vehicle and drive over to the charity of your choice. You won’t have to unload it, as there are always volunteers on-site to do that for you.

We take stuff to Goodwill all the time. It’s no hassle
Problem is my wife ends up buying the same amount of things from the Goodwill store...
