What happened to follow the science? Kids don't need masks. From the CDC website, since this COVID has started, 349 kids aged 0-17 have died from the entire US. From the TX health department, 51 have died from COVID from age 1-19. COVID cases (not deaths) for ages 1 - 19 in TX account for 6.7% of all cases. Double the number of in that age group die in auto accidents every year. I really hope that Bexar County doesn't prevail and make it mandatory for masks again. If they do, they better offer virtual classes again.

Only a complete imbecile, who knows nothing about any virus, can believe that a mask, of the type most are wearing, can give ANY protection! The only reason behind masks, is political!

I missed that one. So what does this mean for the rest of the state? Is any and every district allowed to reinstate mandates?
It is a temporary restraining order and set an injunction hearing for next Monday.. Hurry and get to the TX Supreme Court. Any Bexar County judge is going to allow it to be mandatory.

It is amazing how the CDC and government won't release the common symptoms of the variant (of course there are extremes). They keep saying there is not enough information about the Delta variant. Did a quick google seacrh, and since the UK has been hit hard since december, this is what they are reporting. A headache, sore throat and runny nose are now the most commonly reported symptoms linked to Covid infection in the UK, researchers say. No surprise our government and CDC won't report the most common symptoms. Hard to scare people to get vaccinated over this.

If you remember last school year, Bexar County tried to keep the schools closed to include Boerne ISD. The net result was that they were unable to order schools to do anything. ISD boards are completely separate government agencies. No mandatory masks here in Kendall county. The difference is the ISD’s in Bexar are all on the side of Nirenberg and Wolf.
