I remember reading it was illegal for CA state or local employees to go to states on a ban list. (yes, TX is on the ban list- reportedly for not cow-towing to the gay mafia), unless it's for a conference or other work-related travel that can't go to a non-ban state.

    yep, here it is: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...texas-3-other-states-over-anti-lgbt-laws.html

it's a classic example of a worthless "feel-good" POS legislation written by a POS legislator and passed in a POS legislation system.
I think it's more that they are afraid Ca. state employees will see how much better it is here and won't go back.

Iirc, it's not illegal for state employees to come here, it's illegal for tax money to pay for any part of the trip.

Texas should have struck back and banned Californians altogether.

You are correct, it's still like the lawmakers are little children
Banning Californians was a very common proposal in Colorado... now known as Calirado

Admission to Texas should require a political-affiliation test.

    Otherwise Texas is closed

Just remember, political affiliation is NOT a protected class... perfectly legal to deny someone housing, social services, or discriminate against them because they are Democrats.

IIRC, there is a community in Idaho that "discourages" Democrats from buying homes... and the realtor made that point.

Actually, it's worse than that. Manufacturers need to implement a process of microstamping before they can even be considered.

Correct, I spared the details but this is a big one. This has effectively closed the registry to new models. With Ruger and other manufacturers not renewing their certifications, it is bad juju for California gun owners.

Something for everyone to have fun with. David linskey is the person who puts forth the most crazy feel good anti gun b.s in the peoples republic of massachusetts .

The same person who jammed through a bill that decriminalized bestiality a day or two before his wife filed for divorce and got rid of their goats.

Now I'm not saying he laid with a beast but I also don't believe in coincidence.

    Enjoy

Well hell, Californians recalled Gray Davis and then replaced him with The Governator. And then re-elected Jerry Brown after a decades long hiatus.

Republican Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito signed the bill Friday in her capacity as acting governor because Republican Gov. Charlie Baker is on vacation in California.”

Just sad. In such a hurry to pass it, could not wait for Gov to come back from vacation.

How the ancestors of these people had the nut sack to stand up to to the British, is one of the mysteries of the universe.
