Ok, so here's the short if it- I recently came into possession of a Swedish m38 Mauser rifle stock, devoid of receiver or guts at all, that i intend to refurbish. So, I've been hunting down the appropriate m96/m38 parts, but I am having extreme difficulty finding a receiver. In reality, either large ring or small would work, but I haven't located either. If anyone could point me in the correct direction, I'd be extremely grateful.

    Thanks

They're drying up. To find a suitable m96 , it'll probably be in a plastic stock. The original would be what you're trying to piece together. M96's, large rings use to be common. I've owned just the receiver and barrel. I couldn't one fine today if I tried.
