    Yeah, the Army thought the mint green was a restful color. Lol
    My time as an Armybrat was from WW2 to 1959 when Dad retired.
    The only quarters that I grew up in that still exist are on Old Infantry Post road at Fort Sam... just across the street from The Quadrangle.

    As a late teen and adult, yes. But though I'm sure those were out there, as a kid, all I ever had was bent wire, or home-made tree crotch and inner tube slingshots, that were more appropriate for Chinaberry wars, anyway.

    Marbles for serious shooting, ball bearings were hard to find, and my favorite explosive ammunition, as a little kid, before they were banned, was crackerballs!
    Holy crap I forgot about them. Add those to my list of wars.
